Meet the 2025 Conference speakers:

Neil Fachie OBE, Paralympic Cyclist and Business Coach

Neil Fachie OBE is a Paralympic cyclist and performance business coach. He has represented Great Britain and Team Scotland at multiple Paralympic, World and Commonwealth Games, winning a total of 36 medals to date, 26 of which are gold. He currently holds two World Records and was awarded an OBE for services to sport in 2022. Neil also works with individuals and teams from a variety of industries, sharing insights and lessons from the world of elite sport, to help drive their performance. In 2020 he published a best-selling book on the topic, ‘Earn Your Stripes: Gold medal insights for business and life’.

 

Arne Knaben, Managing Director, Volvo Construction Equipment, Norway

Arne Knaben is currently the MD for Volvo Maskin AS; the dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment in Norway, as well as being Vice President Marketing for Volvo India LTD. In his 30 years with Volvo Group, Arne has held senior positions across the globe, including President and CEO of Volvo Group Australia and MD of Volvo Group Trucks UK & Ireland. Currently based in Norway, he has also worked in Denmark and the Middle East and North Africa (MEENA) region.

Arne has a long history of working in the truck industry. Starting out as an agricultural mechanic, he did his compulsory military service in Norway on the Russian border. At the age of 20, he obtained his truck driver’s license so he could drive trucks and work as a mechanic. He went on to further his education by completing a Mechanical Engineering and Economics degree.

Anne-Lise Cousin, Senior Manufacturing Leader, Celanese Ltd, Switzerland

Anne-Lise has 17 years’ experience in the Chemical Industry and has held impactful and leading roles in Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands, in both major strategic projects and Operational Leadership in Manufacturing. Anne-Lise has a strong reputation within Celanese as an excellent leader and enjoys developing others and teams to achieve their goals, with clarity and efficiency.

Her conference talk will discuss her perspectives, techniques, and how she builds high performing teams going through strategic major changes.

Garry Sanderson, Managing Director, Visualyze

Bruce Faulkner, Director, 3 Simple Rules

Bruce is Director of 3 Simple Rules, where he helps anyone feeling like their career has stalled. Bruce works with individuals, sharing insights and innovative ways to help them reconsider and unlock potential.

Rachel Edwards, Director, Hollin

Rachel has a wealth of experience in upskilling leaders and teams through Behavioural Leadership courses and workshops, as well as 1:1 coaching.

Howard Lees, Founder, Hollin

Howard Lees spent four decades in Civil Engineering and Project Management. He is a chartered civil engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineers (FICE). He founded Hollin Ltd in 2004, where he and his team deliver executive coaching, training courses and surveys to clients on four continents.

Tommy Taylor, Professional Rugby Player, Sale Sharks Rugby Club

Tommy will share knowledge garnered from his career playing and coaching professional Rugby. He will share advice on giving feedback, and making changes to create a high-performing team.

Rachel Edwards, Director, Hollin

Rachel will be reflecting on the behavioural approaches shared during the course of the conference. Using these approaches, Rachel will support attendees to consider how they can make tangible improvements within their own workplaces.

Howard Lees, Founder, Hollin

Howard has spoken at every Hollin Conference and Workshop, each time sharing success stories from projects which have been delivered on time, under budget, safely. In this workshop, Howard will be sharing his secrets to creating a high-performing alliance between project parties.
